If any of you all could help me out that would be great. Recently we have had an important piece of our university tradition vandalized and police are currently searching for the man. He arrived in this vehicle: Police are saying Ford Ranger or similar and I'm going with the similar part. I was thinking maybe an older Nissan hardbody? If anyone has any idea that would be super helpful.

From the proportions, and before reading your description, I saw a '93+ 2WD Ranger or its Mazda B3000/B4000 twin.
